Combining innovation, integrity and experience for unparalleled Industrial Automation

PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) Programming

ACC has programmed, installed, and tuned a diverse variety of PLCs for many different processes. ACC is one of the leading Modicon and Allen-Bradley programmers in the Midwest. Techniques used include advanced algorithms, PIDs, IEC 1131, programming standards development, simulation, startup, and interfacing to MES databases. ACC has installed hundreds of controllers and developed countless pages of operating logic to control a variety of manufacturing processes and machines. This diverse cross-section of PLC brands and applications has taught ACC the importance of developing structured programming standards and flexible control code.

Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and SCADA Design

ACC is aware of the ever-growing importance of innovation to Industrial Manufacturing, including PLC, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and SCADA technologies. We have been involved with the HMI's evolution from a simple push-button station replacement to the advanced SCADA capabilities of today. The various projects with which ACC has been associated have exposed our employees to many different types of HMIs. Some lower-level units include TCP SmartScreen, Allen-Bradley Panel View, and Uticor, while more advanced systems have been developed using Allen-Bradley Control View, Wonderware, and Intellution FIX, FIX32, and iFIX software (OS2, Windows, Windows NT, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems). ACC has developed hundreds of HMI/SCADA nodes and thousands of screens utilizing Keyboard, Touch Screen, and Mouse Driven interfaces. ACC realizes the value of the HMI/SCADA node and its ability to help individuals predict, troubleshoot, and diagnose process problems. Therefore, ACC designs HMIs with the objective of presenting and allowing the user to enter information that is readily accessible, consistent, and understandable. Regardless of the HMI manufacturer, ACC's development concept is consistent; we design a system that is structured, standardized, and flexible.
