Today’s MES systems are built upon industry standards and are more complete and more uniform than their predecessors were.  ACC’s employees are familiar with and competent in ANSI ISA-S95 specification, which provides a widely accepted roadmap to implementation.  Leading ERP systems are adopting these same interface standards, as leveraging this standard on all levels reduces life cycle and implementation costs, as it revises, replaces, or consolidates corporate vendor software applications.
